Re: New Wheel Generator version 2.0 released on 10/1/2022!!!

I have noticed over a forum board a discussion about WG and those folks there compare older versions of WG (1.8.4 and 1.8.5) to the newest one. They believe the older versions are more powerful compared to the latest one. What they do is they open up the programs (old vs new) set some v,k,t,m using ...

Re: New Wheel Generator version will come out in the following months

As of today, the new version of Wheel Generator 2 is available at the website. Check the history in help file for a complete list of changes that took place. The big addition in this version is the ability to work with higher k,t,m parameters as explained at the initial post among other small change...

Re: New Wheel Generator version will come out in the following months

I'm not following you. Does the program have an issue and does not display predicted numbers? Elaborate on what you say, what is the problem?

What update are you looking for in GAT? As for WG, personal opinions do not reflect everybody's opinion; there are people who are extremely interested in this, so please refrain from commenting like that.

Re: Tutorial - Typical usage examples of GAT Engine

Hi user2187, to your questions Method 1 - 1) outcome on a single draw practically means nothing for the performance of a GAT. The outcome proposed by the engine rely on an average performance achievement for all the modes that work that way. The only exception to that is the logic behind "build-up" ...

New Wheel Generator version 2.0 released on 10/1/2022!!!

This is a teaser of what will come in the new WG version. It has been a long awaited for Wheel Generator to be able to support bigger values for k,t,m and I am pleased to announce a working version of Wheel Generator which can tackle sizes for k up to 25 and m up to 20. Not every possible combinatio...

Re: WG subscription

Usage points is not a subscription neither can be converted to one. If you have a subscription however, usage points can be used to extend it. Keep in mind a subscription is always quite cheaper compared to usage points. Usage Points are a means to utilize all the apps available but is mostly intend...

Re: Did I get it right?

Yes, this is the basic and simplest idea in setting up the program to construct a covering and your interpretation of the parameters is correct. Auto-reduce will eliminate blocks if they deemed redundant (if the removal maintains the coverage equal or above the 100% you have set at the L% parameter)...

Re: Development updates

Some more indication of the optimization progress is considered as an overall improvement, including that time since last improvement and a more insightful graph. Going from 32 bit memory to 64 bit allows for some improvement to the various limits - which already works in a development 64-bit versio...

Re: Development updates

More RAM is not that important given the demands are really exponential so if 1-2GB barely do anything like allow for 0.01%-1% speedup optimization making that 10x more RAM still makes no real difference. More RAM will not allow higher v,k,t,m which is something I currently work on and rely on 64 bi...
